More Ways to make money on TikTok
TikTok is a money engine. Yes I said it. If you haven’t explored tiktok as an option for a side income, or even a full time career, then you should right now. In these trying times it is advisable to start exploring these non-traditional ways of making money, and social media is one of them.
This article is an add-on to my previous article ‘How to make money on TikTok’, if you haven’t read it yet, you probably should.
So lets get onto it
- Managing brand deals or campaigns
This is also known as influencer marketing and it is very common on Instagram and Twitter. Brands buy into this marketing strategy as it has proven to be effective for a long time. Influencers, as we call them ‘influence’ social media users to buy certain products or to subscribe to certain platform in exchange for money. As much as you can be an influencer on tiktok, you are not limited to that. You can do more than that.
Think outside the box for a minute…
You can be the intermediary between influencers and brands.
This makes you an Influencer campaign coordinator and under this role, you charge fees for services such as signing agreements, to making sure that product delivery is smooth. Companies look to campaign coordinators as opposed to individual influencers as it can be tedious for them to deal with many influencers. That’s where you come in, you can do that for them.

Tiktok already has a creator marketplace which allows for brands to look for creators who are compatible with their brand. So this is an advantage. You have to pay Tiktok a certain percentage to use this service however over time you can build a strong client base then sign deals out of the platform, saving money as a result.
2. Tiktok Ads
These work like Facebook and Instagram ads and you can use these to promote your products to a specific client base. This means you get to choose the age range of your target client, to their region and and gender. How amazing is that!
This will increase your sales and drive people to your website or other platforms. You do have to pay to post the ads, so do create a budget.
3. Account management
Account management is exactly as it sounds. You manage social media accounts for content creators or brands. In doing this, you help them develop strategic content, or creativity strategies and evaluate any brand deals they are offered. This also mean approaching certain brands and offering to work with them.
But how do you market yourself?
Create a gig on Fiverr and post it.
